Who processes your data

The controller of the data you enter in the booking form is the owner of the Lazy Wave apartment in La Mata (Torrevieja, Spain). We provide the controller's contact details in reply to your enquiry and on request.

What we collect

Only what you type into the form: your name, e-mail address, phone number, stay dates, number of guests, whether you are bringing a pet, and your message. We also store your IP address and browser details, used solely to limit spam.

Why

To handle your enquiry: checking availability, replying, and agreeing the details of your stay. The legal basis is taking steps at your request prior to entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and our legitimate interest in protecting the form from abuse (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

We do not send newsletters and we do not use your data for marketing.

Who we share it with

Nobody. Your data is stored on our own server and is never sold or passed to third parties. A notification about a new enquiry reaches the owner through the Telegram messenger — the only external party involved in delivering your enquiry.

How long we keep it

Enquiries are kept for 24 months and then deleted. Where a booking went ahead, data relating to the stay may be kept longer to the extent required by tax and accounting law.

Your rights

You have the right to access your data, to rectify it, to erase it, to restrict processing, to data portability, and to object. Just write to us and we will delete your enquiry without undue delay. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

Cookies and tracking

This site uses no cookies and no analytics. There is no Google Analytics, no social pixel and no third-party CDN. Typefaces are served from our own server, and the map in the "Area" section is an image generated once from OpenStreetMap data and served from our own server — not an embedded service that would see your visit. Below the map there is a link to Google Maps; following it takes you to Google, where Google's privacy policy applies. Your visit leaves no trace beyond a standard server log.
